The Tragic Fate of Obi-Wan Kenobi
Hello, everyone! Before I start this blog, i just wanted to say how much i really enjoy SW blogs. It's really fun to read other blogs, and post comments, and it's fun to have your very own SW blog. Okay...let's get started, shall we?

We all know the tragic story of Obi-Wan; how his padawan betrayed him and eventually kills him. In this blog, I hope to re-tell his tale from a loving fan's point-of-view:
THE PHANTOM MENACE
Obi-Wan is an ambitious young padawan to his master, Qui-Gon Jinn. While in space, the Hyperdrive in their ship breaks down, and they are forced to land on Tatooine. Then they go to Watto's shop, and happen to see a young boy. Qui-Gon is convinced that this young boy is infact The Chosen One, the one to bring balance to the Force. Obi-Wan has some doubts (it looks that way (to me)),. though. But soon enough they find Darth Maul, a Sith apprentice, who is bent on killing all the Jedi. Maul and Jinn eventually face off, and Maul kills Qui-Gon. Obi-Wan just witnessed the death of his master, a father-like-figure to him, and a dear friend. Obi-Wan is no doubt angry and sad. Obi-Wan then kills Darth Maul. Qui-Gon tells Obi-Wan to make a promise to train Anakin Skywalker. Obi-Wan keeps his promise and becomes the mentor to young Skywalker.
THE ATTACK OF THE CLONES
Anakin is now grown up, though still a padawan to Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan is now over the death of Qui-Gon. Anakin is a good padawan, but he is too head-strong, arrogant, and impatient. This really troubles Obi-Wan during the film (I.E. in the Outlander's Club when Ani says Obi-Wan is the closest thing he has to a father etc, etc). Obi-Wan finds out that there is a new Sith apprentice on the loose, Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku). Dooku soon captures Kenobi and reveals that millions of senators are already under the influence of Darth Sidious, another Sith Lord. The Jedi learn that Dooku is the leader of the Sepratist army, and they must kill him. The Sepratist army has grown since Ep I, and it is more deadlier. When all hope is lost, Obi-Wan ventures to Kamino and finds out that there is a Clone Army that was made for The Republic. The Republic, in turn, uses this army and holds off the Sepratists (at Geonosis).
THE REVENGE OF THE SITH
Anakin is now a full-fledged Jedi Knight, and Obi-Wan is a member of the Jedi Council. Anakin is still arrogant and impatient, but he knows more about the Jedi and the Force. The Jedi come to know of Gen'l Grievous, a cyborg droid, who can also use lightsabers, but not The Force. Obi-Wan + Anakin go on a mission to rescue Supreme Chancellor Palpatine (Being held hostage onboard The Invisible Hand.). They rescue him, and Anakin kills Dooku. Obi-Wan then flies to Utapau to find and kill Grievous. Once Grievous is defeated, his clone troopers turn on him (order 66). This happens to all the other Jedi, but Obi-Wan, not knowing this, goes out to seek other Jedi. Anakin gets seduced into the Dark Side by this time, and is killing all the Jedi in the Temple. Obi-Wan + Yoda go to the Temple and find all the JEdi dead. Obi-Wan then sees a recording of Ani being seduced into the Dark Side. Obi-Wan goes to Mustafar to confront Anakin. Anakin, who has already choked Padme, tries to defeat Kenobi. This is an epic battle in the SW universe (I think). Obi-Wan defeats Anakin finally. While Ani slowly dies, all of Obi-Wan's hope for the Universe dies alongside with him. Ultimatly, everything Obi-Wan hoped would never happen, did in fact come true.
THE SILENT YEARS
Obi-Wan ventures off to Tatooine, to give Luke to the Lars', and then goes into exile. During his exile, Obi-Wan watches over Luke, and goes by the name of Ben. He meditates, and trains there. He also gets extra training from his old master, Qui-Gon Jinn. He also has much time to reflect on the past, and on everything that has happened to him so far. So much had happened to him, his old apprentice betrayed him, and was now one of the most feared beings in the galaxy etc, etc. This would add to his looks, and make him look much older than he actually appeared.
A NEW HOPE
Obi-Wan comes out of hiding to find out that Artoo and Threepio are still intact. Artoo came with a distress message for Obi-Wan. Luke says he wants to help as well. So now Obi-Wan decides to train Luke to become a Jedi. Vader confronts Kenobi one last time, and kills him. Though, during this death, i thought that Ben had sort of wanted to die. He had seen so much during his life, and I don't think he could've seen too much more. I also think he thought that Luke was somewhat ready for the world, and if need, he could always come back as a Force Ghost to help. I think Obi-Wan wanted to be at peace (I would). He came up as a Force Ghost a couple of times in the next movies to help Luke out, but in the end, i think Obi-Wan finally got his well-earned rest.

That was my view of Obi-Wan's tragic tale. The most saddest story in the face of a galaxy far, far away. May you rest in peace, my beloved Obi-Wan Kenobi.
