The Saga of Star Wars
I just had my unofficial Star Wars marathon yesterday, and it was uber crazy. FYI it was unofficial because only my brother and I watched it. My official one is July 15th, where my crazy SW friends and I are going to watch them all, and I didn't see Episode III for my unofficial one. For my unofficial one, I saw all the prequel movies (save RotS), and all of the original trilogy movies. After I finished it (today morning around 7:47ish), I finally realized (more deeply) just how much Star Wars means to me. So, when I finished it, I just stared into the blank screen of my TV, and thought about Star Wars (my brother fell asleep after watching ANH). If anyone had seen me, I think they would've laughed at me, because i was sitting criss-cross, just staring blankly into the TV screen, and my head was sort of bobbing.

I finally understood how Luke felt, transforming from his farmer boy self to a Jedi. It was sort of fascinating, to see all the Star Wars movies in order, numbers one through six. After you watch them all, it sort of gets you into this kind of zealous feeling/thinking mode. Its sort of like after you watch a really good movie, and it just ended. It was how I felt after watching my official LotR marathon last year.

Once you start to think about it, Star Wars has really changed a lot of peoples' lives. Star Wars made a completly new genre of movies. The only thing close to a Sci-Fi movie was 2001: space oddessy, and that was a really bad movie (according to moi). For all you Star Wars fans (practically everyone who has a SW blog), I would really reccomend that you have a Star Wars marathon (DUH), even if you're not a uberly-crazy-savvy Star Wars fan, and know just a little about it. After the end of it all (even after the end of an unofficial one) you will feel like you've acomplished something big in your life.

Furthermore (sounds like I'm writing a report), when you see all the SW movies, it gets you really psyched up. I mean since Monday, I was like eccentric all day, waiting for yesterday. Since I'm me, I sorta forgot to post a little entry thing about my unofficial marathon. It's also fun when you watch them all (obviously), because then you get to enjoy the movies, and after they're finished you'll get some sort of sensation of peace/understanding (for most people who are crazy SW fans like me).

I would give the Star Wars movies a 11 out of 10 being the best. Star Wars ROCKS.

After watching my unofficial SW marathon, all I can say is Bravisimo, George, Bravisimo!! :D Now go turn on your TV and watch Star Wars!!
