Okay, so this is something I've wondered about ever since I saw ROTS, but never thought to write a blog about it. When Anakin and Obi are fighting Dooku, why is it that Palpatine seems to be rooting for "the good guys" even though there is no one around him who would notice? Specifically, when Obi-Wan destroys the Battle Droids, Palpatine says "yeah!" and then grimaces in what appears to be genuine concern when Dooku kicks Anakin away and Force-pushes Obi across the room. Thoughts?
