Anikan and PTSD
so i just finished reading a blog by padmeskywalker77 about anikan and padme and i must say awesome blog and discussion. i know, i know it's about 3 years old but i'm a busy soldier. i don't have time to get around to reading blogs all that often while i'm fight a war so, sadly by the time i finally got around to reading comments were closed and i couldn't join in on the discussion. there was one thing discussed that intrigued me though, and that was how anikan found her less soothing in ROTS. there were many theories behind this but there was one in particular that i didn't see discussed and that was PTSD. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is what many soldiers experience after coming back from war. There are many symptoms attributed to the condition and it usually has an adverse affect on marriages and the toughest part is right after a soldier returns from combat. soldiers suffer from PTSD after being in combat for a matter of months, imagine how that would have affected anikan having seen 3 years of extreme combat. This would explain how he acted different around padme. we can still take into account that he is a jedi and who's to say that jedi meditation wouldn't help him deal with it but it would still have a major affect on his life.

thoughts or comments?

thanks to ps77 for the awesome blog and the inspiration
