How Dark was Count Dooku

Lately I've been wondering how evil Count Dooku was.I wonder because we've never seen Count Dooku truely embracing the darkside.In other words we havnt seen him use his anger and rage.Out of Sidious,Maul,and Vader. Dooku has never had( as far as I know )the shining red/yellow eyes.But then i also wondered Sidious never had the eyes until his battle with Mace,but alot of people say that his true face was shown when that happend.So if that was true then was Dooku really that evil.Or did he know how to mask his appearence like Palpatine.But thats what i was thinking.
I'd love to hear more thoughts.......

date Posted: Mar 06, 2007 11:08 AM Dooku was no were near as dark as Maul, who was totally bad ###! He was about as dark as Vader I guess, I mean he never slaughtered any younglings, but he did start an intergalactic war.

It is clear that he deffinitely wasn't as evil as Maul or Vader (or obviously Sidious), but in the end, I think he was a fallen Jedi, not a Sith. After all, he was simply a means to an end, to get Ani to turn to the Dark Side. MTFBWY, and Happy 30th Annviersary!

I personally like the way dooku keeps up his elegant style of saber fighting, but he seems to stick to tradition. He never lets go and completey gives himself over to the "darkside". I think he restrains himself without knowing it. I think palpatine just saw him as a stepping block, or a tool to use to get to Anakin. Anyways i think the count wasn't too powerful, i think he only dabbled in th epower of the darkside, like a hobby lol. LMAO! :o

i never did buy the explanation that sidious "hid" his true face. i think his sick yellow eyes and gnarled skin were a result of the sith lightning being reflected back to him. i do however think that at certain times when a sith is extremely angery there eyes will glow as anakins did but his never remained permenatly yellow like sidious's. i also think the glowing eyes has to do with how you release your anger. i think dooku had a sutle way releasing it, notice he never really gets excited when fighting. i think with the way keeps his composure is why he never has glowing yellow eyes.

I much preferred Dooku in the Dark Horse comics. They depicted him much more darker, much more adept at Sith deception, much more ruthless and cold-blooded. Various events spring to mind - the murder of the Ishi Tib ruler, his line "The Jedi can live, kill the Clones" to his lieutenants, his mind games with Quinlan Vos, his treachery over Asajj Ventress...

...yep, he was uber-Sithy in the comics, and it was a real pleasure to read.
