Ok,
So, as I stated in my first blog, I've been a fan of Star Wars since I first saw it in 1977. I've watched all of the movies several times. In fact, I just watched The Empire Strikes Back again this weekend. That said, there is one thing that keeps bugging me.
In The Empire Strikes Back, as we all know, Luke goes into the cave on Dagobah and his actions in that cave are later classified, by Yoda, as his "...failure in the cave.". I have thought about this often and I don't get what exactly Luke's failure was in that cave. I keep asking myself, am I just too dense to get it? I find that difficult to believe because I consider myself reasonably intelligent. However, I am having difficulty grasping exactly what was the failure.
I would love to hear the official LucasFilm answer, but I'm not expecting that. So, my fellow fans, what are your thoughts on this?
