In the year 2004, my little sister Madelyn got sick with a uncurable cancer called Nueroblastoma stage 4. St. Jude has treated her for nearly three years along with other patients with a type of cancer. we regularly go there for checkups to see if everythings stable.

In 2005 there was a Holloween party at St. Jude. The kids and even grown ups would dress up in costumes of different sorts. I for one went as Darth Vader,my favorite character!

During our visit to St. Jude I stood outside the room while Madelyn was getting her checkup. A group of little kides dressed like people like Superman and clowns. They stopped when they saw me outside in the hallway in my full Vader costume. One kid came and screamed and said "Darth Vader"! Then he ran up to me and hugged me as hard as he could saying that he loved Darth Vader. That made my day knowing this boy loved Star Wars!

Since then I have made it a tradition to dress as Darth Vader at St. Jude every year on Holoween!
