I have tickets for Sunday. I'm getting too old for all the fan hoopla of opening night!! And midnight showings are
verboten!! Movies annoy me when my body knows it should be sleeping.
WHERE'S MY TEETH, MARTHA?!?
So, for
Revenge of the Sith I will have plenty of rest, and see an evening showing at a
DLP (digital projection) theater, with a couple of friends. I didn't actually think I could
get a Friday showing on the
DLP screen (the only one in Chicago), so I figured Sunday was a safe bet.
Bottom line is my first viewing has to be as it was meant to be seen, projected digitally at a first rate theater. I have my tickets, and wait patiently for the beginning of a Star Wars Summer. As opposed to a Corvette Summer.
It doesn't have THX sound, however...Evanston's Century has THX, but no DLP. IS THIS CONFUSING?!?!

Keep checking this blog as I will publish, for the very first time, my diary from my 11 hour wait for tickets for Episode I: The Phantom Menace!! It was not all Leia bikinis and Fan Community stuff, I tell you!
IT WAS HELL!
