Athon and On!

Star Wars Movie Marathon:
a. Marathon Proper (Episodes I-6 in one day)
b. Half Marathon (Episodes I-III on first day, IV-VI on the second)

Star Wars Novelizationathon:
a. Reading all the novelizations in order. I'm currently doing this one, at the beginning of Episode II. I hope to be at A New Hope by May 25th for the anniversary (Wiggum is a slow reader). I'm listening to the music as I go along, as well, sort of combining it with a....

Star Wars Soundtrackathon:
a. God bless Johnny Williams! (yes, I'll be using the special edition's for IV-VI)

Star Wars Trailer-a-thon:
a. From the DVD's, watching all the trailers from all six films.

Star Wars Official Comic Book Adaptationathon:
a. Dark Horses Episodes I-III culminating in Marvel's IV-VI. Slightly weird, I imagine, with some odd continuities (Jabba is the big example. Ok, and the weird Yoda in Episode V too).
b. Star Wars Mangathon; Episodes I-VI. I don't have all of these - hoping they'd have put them into a big complete edition by now.

Star Wars Lego Video Game-athon:
a. I'm almost finished, lost on Endor, Episode VI.

There must be other athons you can do to relive the Skywalker Saga. What will you be doing?

date Posted: Apr 22, 2007 2:31 PM Well, since I can't make C4 like so many of the other lucky people here I'll be having a cry-athon & a read-athon, looking anxiously for peoples posts from the festivities. I'm sure I'll probably have the movies going, popcorn & jerky at hand etc. Thanks for the ideas.....

date Posted: Apr 23, 2007 9:08 AM Great ideas! I would love to do all of these if I had enough time! Come now, Jade Sabre777. EVERYONE has time to do the Star Wars Trailer-a-Thon. The longest part of it is changing and loading up the discs.... Although I suppose with the appropriate software one could make that easier - for privatee, non-commercial use, of course.
