Being A Fanboy
Ahh, the internet. What would we do without it? Find pictures, videos, articles, talk to people, anything.

Now, mainly what I like to do is find out about upcoming movies or games. So, that legally qualifies me as a fanboy. In fact, about all of you out there are fanboys.... or girls.

Why you ask? Well, your learning about the upcoming The Clone Wars. The Force Unleashed. Indy 4. And some of you went to the Celebrations dressed up. That seems fanboyish.

Now there are different types of fanboys. The laidback type, which is me. Just trying to get some backround on upcoming movies/games. Doesn't freak out about the new Comic Con or Celebration. Might want to visit but won't likely.

Then there is the Fanboy Fanboy. They are the ones who'd visit a convention in casual clothing or a costume on the opening day. Try to find a lot about the new blockbuster. Mainly what a fanboy is suppost to be.

Then there is the hardcore fanboy. They don't look for information, they provide the information. By stealing things. Which is illegal. Like scripts. I mean fanboys got some information on movies like 300 or Fantastic Four 2 and made them hits. Not for the critics but for the public. And when they go to conventions they don't wear a costume for one day. They wear a costume everyday.

But I bet you didn't know where they came from, surprisingly Star Wars had something to do with this. At a convention in '76, George Lucas had showed some drawings of Star Wars to the public. Which was behind much of Star Wars success.

So, I hope you enjoyed this brief history lesson. Because I hate history.

Rock on!!
