date Posted: Jun 11, 2007 2:59 AM Great pictures! I still am amazed that after being there for five days straight, I still see plenty of pictures of costumes that I never saw there at all! I'm pretty sure the operating table was the real prop. That was the impression I got from the sign, and I don't think it would have made much sense to put it on display there otherwise.

I'm amazed by what I missed too! I'm glad others have blogged about their experiences and posted pictures. One thing I learned later was that there was a bomb scare when we were in the Opening Ceremonies eating cake. I didn't find out about that for like a week after it happened and I was right there and saw all the cop cars. At the time, I thought they were politely clearing traffic to let us clear out of there.
