Sith Soundtrack Re-sequencing
So, like a good SW fan (and movie score fan), I picked up the RotS soundtrack the day it came out.

It was... difficult not to look at the track titles. You see, unlike the previous prequels, I wanted to go into this one as blind as possible. I even was skipping Track 5 on the the bonus DVD.

On the subject of the Bonus DVD... I would pay for that alone. It's so great. I play it on one of the TV's at the music store I work in. Yeah, I'm trying to sell a product not by the features of the product itself, but by the features of the "free" bonus you get with the purchase. It's great, and everyone should have it.

After experiencing Sith 3 times (because 3 is a magic number *wink*), I realized that there was something that bothered me about the sequence of tracks on the soundtrack.

I know, I know, it's not an "Ultimate Edition" like we got for Phantom, but at least they could put something out that sort of follows the movie's chronology. And there's something wrong with having more soundtrack time devoted to General Greivous than the screen time he got. But, I digress...

Here is my re-sequencing of the Revenge of the Sith soundtrack... with the original track number in parentheses, if I changed it.

1. Star Wars AND The Revenge of the Sith
2. Grievous and the Droids (7)
3. Grievous speaks to Lord Sidious (13)
4. General Grievous (5)
5. Anakin's Dream (2)
6. Palpatine's Teachings
7. Padme's Ruminations (8)
8. Anakin's Betrayal (4)
9. Anakin's Dark Deeds (10)
10. Enter Lord Vader (11)
11. Anakin vs. Obi-Wan (9) OR Battle of the Heroes (3)
12. The Immolation Scene
13. The Birth of the Twins AND Padme's Destiny (14)
14. A New Hope AND End Credits (15)

Since Anakin vs. Obi-Wan (9) and Battle of the Heroes (3) are basically the same track... you can use whichever one you want. I tacked Battle of the Heroes on the end of mine, since it's the "stand alone" piece from Ep3.

Anyhow... this sequence just feels better to me.
