3 is a Magic Number [Part 2]
Grrrr. Tripped over subcontractors all day and was NOT productive at all.

Meanwhile, back at Episode 3...

I got into town and rendevouzed with the Chizzad to discuss the plan. After several beers, a trip to the CD store for System of a Down, and a viewing of Team America, we decided to "stake out" the theater, to see if any other die hards were going to Damn the Man and pull an overnighter.

We got to the parking lot at about 1 a.m. Chad's cousin had told us that Luke (I swear that's the guy's name), Great Falls' #1 Star Wars fan, was camped next door at the Barnes and Noble, but we didn't see him. So here's me and Chad sitting in my Monte Carlo... waiting to get busted and sent home.

Several hours and several beers later, there is some action in the parking lot! At about 3 a.m., some people pull up and start unpacking stuff. I wake the Chizzad up, and we drive over to the new arrivals, to see what's going on.

"Star Wars?" we ask.
"You know it!" they say.

"We've got food!" "We've got beers!"

"But," I say... "Do you have one of THESE?"

Sidebar: The previous Saturday, I went to work, and there on the desk was one of the Force FX Lightsabers. YES!!! They were in. I bought a Darth Vader model, and the Bozeman Hastings was a Jedi/Sith battlefield for a few hours until I put mine away. The Force FX Lightsaber is the COOLEST. TOY. EVER!!! Nuff said.

So... I fire up the saber, and like a beacon in the night... all of a sudden from over in the Barnes and Noble lot, we see an alternating blue/red saber. Luke starts yelling at us to come over there so we don't get in trouble.

It was ON! Let the wait for tickets begin.
