Why? Why? Why did Darth Sidious (via Nute Gunray) remove the blockade and indirectly cause Queen Amidala to land?
You know what I realized? Although most stories contain both good and evil characters I usually side with good. When I was younger and watched A New Hope and Ben Kenobi died i was a little sad. Here was a good hero struck down by a half-robotic villain. I sided with good. Who ever felt a tingle of excitement running down their spine as their evil hero destroyed all that mattered in Luke's life? who sides with evil? In truth, nobody. But for the sake of a movie one might take that approach.
