Becoming an "official" Star Wars artist

About a month or so ago I was very fortunate enough to get that e-mail that can make any Star Wars fan jump. I was asked to participate in creating sketch cards for the upcoming Star Wars Clone Wars set coming out in July from Topps. Now like many of you I have spent countless hours for the last 30 years drawing the adventures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo and the list goes on. I can't count how many classes I was drawing when I should have been taking notes. I am just honored that now I can create my artwork through Topps' sketch cards in the wonderful Star Wars Universe!
