Greetings!

I've been resisting the urge to begin blogging and have instead used the VIP thread to keep you all up to date. Now I've decided (for the moment) to use the blog to let folks know when changes to the schedule (and whatnot) are happening.

In the mature fiction area (I've never been comfortable with "adult" fiction -- too many connotations) we've had two unassigned hardcovers awaiting creative direction. Now there are three. Elizabeth Hand was slated to write a novel set in the Old Republic Era but, over-committed with other projects, has reconsidered and stepped out. Ms. Hand's hardcover was slated for an October 2007 release so this still gives us plenty of time to assign another author and explore other Eras as possible settings.

The anticipated paperback omnibus (LABYRINTH OF EVIL and REVENGE OF THE SITH) with CD-ROM of the visual script due to come out this November has been put on hold -- the Fall schedule looked a bit too full. We'll revisit this maybe in the next year or so, and possibly publish an omnibus trilogy (to include DARK LORD: THE RISE OF DARTH VADER), but, as always, don't hold me to that! We are looking at other products to couple with the CD-ROM; don't write that one off yet.
