New Novels Updated
This is an update to that other blog, listing the upcoming novels. The other one was getting a little messy as things change so much -- expect further changes!

December 30, 2008 -- LUKE SKYWALKER AND THE SHADOWS OF MINDOR by Matthew Stover. (Hardcover) I just received the advanced samples of this one and it looks very cool.

March 24, 2009 - OUTCAST, by Aaron Allston. (Hardcover) This is the first book of the 9-book FATE OF THE JEDI hardcover series. In the two years following the death of Darth Caedus, the new Chief of State Daala considers the Jedi Knights as rogue soldiers too dangerous and unstable to leave unfettered. She has sworn to bring the Order under government control - or disband it entirely. In order to discover what when wrong with Jacen, Luke and Ben attempt to follow Jacen's previous journey in the hopes of discovering how the galaxy's other Force-using groups influenced him to accept and use dark side powers.

May 19, 2009 -- CLONE WARS: NO PRISONERS by Karen Traviss. (Trade Paperback) Anakin needs a break and sends Ahsoka, along with Captain Rex and other members of the 501st, on a routine three-day shakedown cruise aboard Captain Gilad Pellaeon's newly refitted assault ship. As it turns out, there's nothing at all routine about the cruise and they find themselves in the middle of a hostage situation.

June 23, 2009 -- FATE OF THE JEDI: OMEN by Christie Golden. (Hardcover) The second book in the Fate of the Jedi series finds Luke and Ben in serious trouble. Well, pretty much everyone is in serious trouble. And then there's that scene at the zoo.......

August 28, 2009 -- FATE OF THE JEDI: ABYSS by Troy Denning. (Hardcover) In this third book, more trouble happens as well as some good times, and Ben Skywalker enjoys a dinner date.

September 29, 2009 - IMPERIAL COMMANDO: 501st, by Karen Traviss. (Paperback) Great title, huh? Clone troopers become stormtroopers in this gripping aftermath of Order 66. Follow Darman, Niner, and other favorites as they find their way in this new Empire gone mad.

October 27, 2009 - DEATHTROOPERS, by Joe Schreiber (Paperback) takes place just before the events of A New Hope. This is the first Star Wars venture into the horror genre and should be read under the covers by flashlight.

December 15, 2009 - The third Darth Bane novel by Drew Karpyshyn. (Hardcover) This book continues the story of Darth Bane and his apprentice Zannah. I'm dying to see how the two of them get along.

December 29, 2009 -- BLOOD OATH, by Elaine Cunningham. (Paperback) Remember where we left Zekk at the end of the final battle in INVINCIBLE? This book begins with Zekk left spinning in his StealthX and follows his journey to rejoin the Jedi Order. But first..... well, it's all in the novel.

January 18, 2010 - FATE OF THE JEDI book 4 by Aaron Allston. (Hardcover) The story continues....

January 26, 2010 - CROSSCURRENT by Paul Kemp. (Paperback) This one stars Jaden Korr and probably a few Jedi and a few Sith. It sort of takes place during the Great Hyperspace War, and then sort of doesn't... well, you'll figure it out.

March 2010 -- CLONE WARS 3 by Karen Miller. (Trade paperback)

April 27, 2010 - FATE OF THE JEDI 5 by Christie Golden. (Hardcover)

June 2010 - CLONE WARS 4 by Karen Miller. (Trade Paperback)

July 2010 --IMPERIAL COMMANDO 2 by Karen Traviss. (Paperback)

August 2010 - FATE OF THE JEDI 6 by Troy Denning. (Hardcover)

October 2010 - A novel by Alex Irvine. This is a stand-alone novel starring... are you ready? Nomi Sunrider!! (Hardcover)

November 2010 - FATE OF THE JEDI 7 by Aaron Allston. (Hardcover)

January 2011 - FATE OF THE JEDI 8 by Christie Golden. (Hardcover)

March 2011 - This untitled Boba Fett novel by Karen Traviss stars Boba Fett. (Paperback)

April 2011 - FATE OF THE JEDI 9 by Troy Denning. (Hardcover) Wraps up the series....

June 2011 - An untitled novel by Michael Reaves and Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff features a promising holostar -- a rags-to-riches story set a few years before the Battle of Yavin. (Paperback)

Thanks for this updated list, Sue...

(little typo: LUKE SKYWALKER AND THE SHADOWS OF MINDOR will be released in December 2008 instead of 2009... ;) )

That's terrible that Blood Oath has been moved back. I was really looking forward to that one. Does this mean that whatever important stuff happens in it will be spoiled by the first three books of FOTJ? :(

No, it shouldn't. At most you'll have to suspend your belief as to why the regular group isn't mentioning Zekk by the 3rd FOTJ novel, since they probably know he's survived....

Thanks for the updates, Sue! :D

Your teasers for FOTJ are really fun. B-) Even if they'll no doubt lead to much misguided speculation in the meantime. ;)

Sorry to hear Blood Oath was delayed. But now I can be relieved it's not the J/J wedding book after all. If that got delayed eight months on me, I might have to cry. (Seriously. :p )

Very, very cool stuff. I have to say, I am really confused as to what is going on with the Clone Wars era timeline though. I just started reading wildspace, and there is a passage on page 41 toward the bottom that says Anakin is now knighted 4 weeks after the Clone Wars, and the clone wars animated film takes place just a bit longer than 3 weeks after his knighting?

This would seem to contradict the established timeline of events for existing novels like Jedi Trial, the Dark Horse Comics such as the Battles of Jabiim, and even the Tartovsky cartoons. Is there a plan to reorganize events or put out a series of retcons to make things work again, or are we going to begin going down the road where the animated continuity is separate from the rest of the EU? I am not trying to unjustly criticize, I am just curious what the official stance on this issue is.

I have a question on Fate of the Jedi.
Is there gonna be a Sith? And, is that gonna be full-scale war?
