The Del Rey Star Wars Fiction Calendar -- as of today, September 29, 2009.
Here's the updated fiction calendar -- you'll see that I have the day of publication for some and only the publication month for others --

Also, I listed some of the paperback reprints for most of the hardcovers, but not past 2010 or so....

Enjoy!

October 13, 2009 -- DEATH TROOPERS by Joe Schreiber. The thrilling horror novel. Hardcover. There's a poster printed on the inside of the cover jacket -- shows the hanging stormtrooper helmet from the front cover, etc..... And that's just a hanging helmet; there's no head in it, okay? That black stuff attached to the back of the helmet is fabric remnants, not flayed neck sinew, just to be clear.....

October 27th, 2009 -- IMPERIAL COMMANDO: 501st by Karen Traviss. Paperback. This story follows after the events of ORDER 66.

November 24, 2009 -- MILLENNIUM FALCON by Jim Luceno. Paperback Reprint.

December 8, 2009 -- DARTH BANE: DYNASTY OF EVIL by Drew Karpyshyn. Hardcover.

January 26, 2010 -- CROSSCURRENT by Paul Kemp. This is the Jaden Korr, et al, novel set just after the Legacy of the Force series. Paperback.

February 23, 2010 -- LUKE SKYWALKER AND THE SHADOWS OF MINDOR, by Matthew Stover. Paperback Reprint.

March 9, 2010 -- BACKLASH by Aaron Allston. The fourth Fate of the Jedi novel. Hardcover.

March, 2010 -- CLONE WARS GAMBIT: STEALTH by Karen Miller. Part one of a two-part story set in the Clone Wars era. Trade Paperback.

May, 2010 -- OUTCAST by Aaron Allston. Paperback Reprint.

May 25, 2010 -- CLONE WARS GAMBIT: SIEGE by Karen Miller. Second part of the two-part Clone Wars era story. Trade Paperback.

June, 2010 -- ALLIES by Christie Golden. Book five of the Fate of the Jedi Series. Hardcover.

July, 2010 -- NOT a coming attraction by well-known author as the whole thing fell through. This happens. Don't ask me about it though.... See? I shouldn't have put it in here in the first place!! But I was really excited about it... and now it's not happening. Argh.

July 27, 2010 -- OMEN by Christie Golden. Paperback Reprint.

September, 2010 -- Another one I'm not able to confirm. There might be a book here and on the other hand there might not. Signs point to yes, but situation is hazy. Ask again later, or better yet, don't ask at all.

September 2010 -- DEATH TROOPERS by Joe Schreiber. Paperback Reprint.

October 5, 2010 -- UNTITLED by Joe Schreiber. Oh, is this the first you've heard of this? The first book did so well (I'm projecting here) that we decided another was in order. Just to note -- this isn't a sequel to DEATH TROOPERS -- it's a stand-alone. Hardcover.

October 26, 2010 -- ABYSS by Troy Denning. Paperback Reprint.

November 2010 -- IMPERIAL COMMANDO #2 by Karen Traviss. The second Imp Com novel. Paperback.

November 23, 2010 -- DYNASTY OF EVIL by Drew Karpyshyn. Paperback Reprint.

December 2010 -- VORTEX by Troy Denning. Book Six in the Fate of the Jedi Series. Hardcover.

February 2011 -- UNTITLED novel by Alex Irvine. This is the one that features Nomi Sunrider. Hardcover.

March 2011-- UNTITLED by Michael Reaves and Maya Bohnhoff. This is the one featuring the Holostar. Paperback.

March 2011 -- BACKLASH by Aaron Allston. Paperback Reprint.

April 2011 (maybe late March) -- CONVICTION by Aaron Allston. Fate of the Jedi book seven. Yes, we just decided on the title. Nice, huh? Hardcover.

May 2011 -- ALLIES by Christie Golden. Paperback Reprint.

June 2011 -- UNTITLED by Paul S. Kemp. Paperback. This is the sequel to CROSSCURRENT. Once you read CROSSCURRENT, you'll figure out the sequel....

August 2011 -- BOOK 8 of the Fate of the Jedi Series by Christie Golden. Hardcover.

September 2011 -- UNTITLED by Timothy Zahn. Set after ALLEGIANCE, the working title is CHOICES --- probably won't be the final title, though. Hardcover.

October 2011 -- UNTITLED by Jeff Grubb. Paperback.

November 2011 -- VORTEX by Troy Denning. Paperback Reprint.

November 2011 -- UNTITLED and UNASSIGNED hardcover.

December 2011 -- BOOK 9 of the Fate of the Jedi series by Troy Denning -- the last one..... Hardcover.

We have two assigned books in 2012, one in March and the other in November, both hardcovers. There are other books in 2012 and also 2013, but we don't have authors for those yet, and I'm not ready to disclose the two that we do have.... 'cuz things change so often. I'd rather post 2012 and beyond when there's more to say.

Life is good.

Has the release date of Abyss been changed tot eh 25th, or is that a typo?

I was under the impression it was still being released the 18th and this is the first I have heard about the 25th. So I hope it's a typo.

Yep, you're right. My calendar has the 25th, but I see that the Random House catalog page and Amazon.com both have the 18th. Thanks for the catch.

November 2011 -- UNTITLED and UNASSIGNED hardcover.

Now this is the one I'm really looking forward to... :D

Just kidding, thanks for the list, I'm intrigued! But why so long between vol 3 & 4 of FOTJ? It's been great so far, I want more! LOL

Life is good.

Yes it is seeing so many titles listed here. Thank goodness there will always be new SW adventures.

I am running out of space to put all this though.

Thanks for the updates!

So pretend you didn't see it, okay?

See what? :^O

Really. I won't even acknowledge your questions about this. Maybe I just stuck it in here for conversation... who knows?

So in other words what you're really saying is that you have nothing to discuss at this time about a book that may or may not be released sometime on or around July 2010. :^O

If I remember correctly, Blood Oath has been cancelled. Which is unfortunate. I was looking forward to read it.

Sue, is there any way that ebooks are allowed in more countries, Mexico to be specific?

Only one I've been able to buy lately was Millenium Falcon, but the Legacy of the Force books and the new Lost Tribe of the Sith do have geographical restrictions and I'm terribly worried about Death Troopers e-book (which is not available today, bummer) might enforce those restrictions...

That would make me very sad, since that's a book I've been waiting for a long time...
