The Hoth Lanta Rebels Camp-out/Line-up was a huge event. Regal Hollywood 24 Cinema, in Chamblee, Ga. was a bit overwhelmed at the turnout and activities.

I arrived at 4:00PM Wednesday and promptly unfolded my chair (which I never really sat in) and began to enjoy the festivities. All my best fan club buds were there. All smiles and in their finest Star Wars apparel. )Lookin' good and geeky )

The Hoth Lanta Rebels provided the entertainment assisted by the local 501st. The HLR did charades, trivia and the most entertaining, Lava Vader Pop-Tart Eating Contest, BYOB. (Bring your own bucket) We often work closely together at events such as this. Many faces were also at C3. Some are in both clubs, the 501st being the more serious club and we Rebels the nutty ones. I do believe I'm in the right place.

Master Replica's ladies, Celeste and Laurie provided free T-Shirts, hats and Sharon of our club won a Vader FX Saber. Could not have gone to a better fan, it is her first saber.

The Halley Miranda Group represented Target Inc. and offered the fans goodie bags which contained the evenings dinner. Fruit Loops, water, a Saber Spoon (I got yet another red) a CD (Not sure what is is yet) and...our favorite, a Medallion that reads, "Waiting in line is evidence of your devotion to the Force." Nicely done trinket.

Media was everywhere. There can be NO escape. As PR Officer for HLR, all good. My thanks to Alice, from Channel 11 for sending out the diligent crew. They arrived Monday and never really left. Thanks to the Atlanta Journal Constitution for the wonderful pictures and attention given to HLR in the newspaper durning the entire event. Thanks also to CBS, FOX, DragonCon Films, and all that helped imortalize our little piece of Star Wars history.
