So to fulfill a promise to a friend, I'm going to show you some of my Star Wars stuff! Although I may not have tons of toys like many of you do, I am indeed proud of the items I've accumulated over the past year, and of course each item has a story behind it. Mind you, I had quite a bit as a kid, but lost track of it all as a teenager.
So here we go!
I'll begin with showing you how I wake up every morning... looking up to see Vader hovering above. Some of you may find
this a bit disturbing, but not I.
You see I also have a certain
Master Jedi watching over me as I sleep.
Both of those were given to me by a neighbor whose family member worked at a Blockbuster Video store. Knowing of my fandom, they showed up at my door with them, expecting to make me ecstatic. They were not disappointed.
Also in that pic, you'll see
two framed pictures that I found at a Suncoast Video store in the mall and on them are some coins that I actually found at a liquor store near my work! They're all characters from the OT and on the opposite side you'll find the
SW logo.
As an official "blogalot", thanks nob01, I have made my bedroom computer area into a
little Star Wars haven if you will, filled with
pics,
posters and
collectables.
My most prized possession at this point is my Vader 3D Sculpture. This
picture doesn't do it justice actually. I bought it at the swap meet from an old fossil dude for $20! I was disappointed when I got home to find that the directions were missing, but would that stop me? Heck no!! I figured it out and completed it within 3 hours!
A
couple more
pics of
stuff here for ya...
Anyway, that about does it. Thanks for stopping by. Leave your $2.00 at the door on your way out. Hey, I heard
The King charges $10 for his tours, and rightly so I might add.
Lots a love!
