So I had a visitor down here in SoCal last month. I'll give you all a few hints. She's got gorgeous red flowing curls, the bluest eyes, and a squee that can be heard from miles around.... Oh, and she has a wee little "crush" on Harrison Ford.

You guess it... our own Hansgirl came to join me for Comic Con!

As I waited at the baggage claim for my dear friend, my thoughts went back to the last time I saw her which was at C4 last year. I thought of how our time then was cut short and how I always felt like I missed out on so much with the gang. I was determined to enjoy every minute with her for the next 3 days. Just then my phone rings. It's her, squeeing that her plane has landed and she was on her way down. Excitement overcame me as I realized I was moments away from seeing one of my dear Spew sisters.

When she walked in I think we scared some folks with our squeeing. LOL

So we grab her bags and off we go up the coast to our hotel in Carlsbad. We couldn't check in yet so we decided to do lunch over at the beach. We mowed some popcorn shrimp and fish-n-chips while we enjoyed the ocean view, warm sun and cool breezes. After lunch we walked over to the cliffs to check out the surfers which HG had mentioned wanting to do while down here. Just then Angel Baby called us and we had a little spew session on speaker right there on the beach.

That night we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Kings and then a caught a late movie (Mama Mia). We laughed, we cried, and laughed some more. If you've seen the movie you'll get me. It was a very special night chillin with my bud.

Then, it was Comic Con time! We woke up and got on the road, heading down the coast to San Diego. It was about a 30 minute drive but an hour wait in traffic downtown near the convention center. Did we let it get to us? NO WAY! We finally found a place to park. Good thing too, or I might have got us killed. I despise one way streets!!! Don't ask. LOL

Our first day at the Con rocked. We met all the artists, some movie stars, spent lots of money (a girls favorite thing) on toys, shirts, and gifts for our buds.

One of the most memorable moments was when we got squeeezed by Richard Hatch. I SO loved meeting him and I'm blown away by how down to earth he was! That night I took HG to In-n-Out Burger which was one of her goals, as they're only in Cali. You should have seen her squeee over that burger! Afterwards we went to the Coyote Bar and Grill where we chilled aside a bonfire and enjoyed the musings of Billy and his pops. LOL Again, dont ask. LOL

Friday we met up with our GHG buds T-bone and Brandy and had a blast. That night all of us kicked it at the Hard Rock for some good times I'll never forget, one of which was talking to DJ Maul on the phone while partying in the Gaslamp Quarter. So wish he and the gang could have been there with us. But, I'm just stoked I was able to talk to them at least. Actually we talked to a bunch of our buds while there... Megatrends, Gencrs, Master Mina, Jedi Pugs, Angel Baby, and Jediprincess to name a few!

SDCC was a blast and meeting up with you all was the highlight of my summer. So love you!!
