Anthony Grandio Star Wars Themed Checks

Well, a while ago, I finally ran out of checks. It took a while, since I pay most of my bills online. But this gave me the opportunity to try something new.

When I went to reorder my book of checks, I was originally going to go with the standard bank-coma-inducing style checks. But I realized that they cost about the same as the Anthony Grandio Star Wars Themed ones. So, I logged onto their website at www.anthonygrandio.com, and ordered some. I bought some Star Wars themed address labels, as well. They're great.

I was even at the bank the other day, and the teller commented on my new Star Wars checks, saying that her 5-year-old is a huge Star Wars fan, and that he is a big time collector - That impressed me, considering that he is only five. She said that he has all of the figures, and such. We talked about the Star Wars stamps, and how her son has about 5 different Vaders.

I told her about the new Star Wars animated movie coming out, which she knew nothing about. So, I'm guessing that this little 5-year-old is quite happy right now, with a new Star Wars movie/TV show to look forward to.

It's always exciting to tell people good Star Wars news...

date Posted: Feb 25, 2008 6:26 AM I'd love to get a set of SW checks, but I'm currently getting my checks for free from my bank. So it might be a while. I love the address labels, though. I think I got a special deal to get a sample collection of them or something, and they're beautiful! Well...about as beautiful as a Star Wars item can be.

Z-score, this comment is simply to say hi! It has been a long while since I've visited my old SW blog, but I have to say I'm somewhat inclined to start blogging here again - it really was alot of fun. Anyways, it is good to see some of my favorite bloggers are still blogging away, and you know, Star Wars fandom never really leaves you.

Married life has treated us well, and all is well on this end. I must confess that I haven't watched a SW movie in a long, long time. I guess I just needed a break, or whatever, but I'm feeling a Star Wars rejuvenation. We'll see.

Good to see you brother, and I hope everything is going well with you.

Hey, Diviner! It's good to hear from you.

I can sympathize about taking breaks from the Star Wars movies. I have to do that frequently. Usually, when I do watch them, it's just in spurts. Although, I am planning on having a Star Wars marathon with a friend of mine next month. I have yet to watch the complete saga in one sitting, so that will be something to look forward to.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying married life, and I hope to see you back on the blogs.
