Yesterday's entry Clone Confusion will definitely go down in the archives of my blog as one of, if not my most ridiculed, insulted, and of course controversial entries. It was all for the sake of a decent debate though, and as always no offense taken. I understand my thesis is difficult to accept and possibly even to prove but perhaps this will help settle the matter.
If you haven't read Clone Confusion now is the time-

Despite the fact my thesis has taken some hard hits, it still stands strong.
I still believe that the clones were modified genetically to make them easier to control and order. In my mind the mission of the Kaminoans was to create an elite and creative thinking warrior that could also be easily controlled and ordered. They reconized that no amount of conditioning would ever make a clone totally obediant so they decided to take a different route- genetics.
Now I realize I only have one peice of evidence which many seem to claim is evidence for their argument not my own-
"You'll find they are totally obedient, taking any order without question. We modified their genetic structure to make them less independent than the original host."
All those against my thesis have claimed that "less independant" means that they made the clones more oriented toward teamwork instead of working alone like Jango did.
I have proposed that independant refers not to teamwork, because teamwork is something that is taught not modified genetically, but instead "less independant" means that the clones were made to be more dependant on their authorities, and were made less capable of independant perhaps even mutinous thinking. Such altercations would be perfect for an army. Perfect for one that would eventually turn on it's own leaders.
I also have one more piece of evidence that supports my claim. It comes from the conversation with Lama Su about Jango's unaltered son Boba-
"Pure genetic replication. No tampering with the sructure to make it more docile, and no growth acceleration."
The key line in there is,
"No tampering with the structure to make it more docile..."
The definition of docile is: "Yielding to supervision, direction, or management; tractable. Synonyms include- obediant, malleable, and mangable."
So the clones were altered to make them more obediant. Just as I had argued and was ridiculed for. The clones really were designed to be totally obediant, not just in their conditioning but also in their very genetics as I had previously supported. That in mind, my earlier conclusion that clones shouldn't be able to rebel or mutiny is absolutely correct. the only chance there would be of a clone being able to disobey Order 66 would be if there had been a mistake in his DNA alterations. Which I doubt because the Kaminoans detected mistakes and eliminated clones that weren't totally obediant.
So I'm sure many of you will still not believe a word of this. That's fine we are all entitled to believe what we want, just accept the fact that what I say is not just my opinion.
"A thought... anyone?"
