If you live in the Southeast it may come as no surprise that DragonCon is coming up this week. I will finally attend this year, and look forward to it. I really want to check out the art show and see about getting involved next year, even if I can just volunteer. Plus there is a Star Wars group there that has panels and activities. I am excited because this is the first convention I have ever attended. Since I live in the Atlanta area this is the closest one, and it seems to be the largest one in the Southeast. I know that Ray Park, David Prowse, Peter Mayhew, Matthew Wood will be there. Also Kevin J Anderson and Timothy Zahn will be there representing the authors of Star Wars. There will also be some artists there like Adam Hughes, Allison Sohn, and Mark Brooks who have all done comics and sketch cards. I am also looking forward to the dealers and trying to get some items for my collection. Hopefully someone will have some of the 30th Anniversary figures that are a bit harder to find.

So I am looking to some other fans who have either attended DragonCon in the past or other conventions for some tips. Anything will be helpful. Thanks
