Well I thought I would share with you the thing from Episode III that moved me the most. It was the fall of two of the galaxies fineist heros, Skywalker and Kenobi. Here we have a relationship that has grown and matured over years and years. Here we have the wise strong and cunning Obi Wan Kenobi who is Anakins master, father figure, and friend. On the other side we have the powerful, strong, and sometimes reckless Anakin Skywalker. He is greatly appreciated by many across the galaxy. We have watched their relationship grow over the years. In Episode I Obi Wan didn't like Anakin and aggred with the council that he should not be trained. Although of course he does train him to follow his masters will. In Episode II Anakin is young and rebelious and didn't want to listen to Obi Wan which is commen for a teenager. Obi Wan always had to remind him of his training and of his teachings. Now in Episode III we have a whole different story. As soon as the space battle starts we see they have changed. The war has changed their relationship makeing them reliaze now more than ever friends are important. They joke and tease each other and just relax like old friends should. They became galactic icons around the glaxay. Skywalker and Kenobi the heros of the Republic they where called. Everyone knew the battle was a victory for the Republic when the great heros arrived. It truely was amazing to see their relationship progress over the years. That all changed on a planet called Mustafar. The epic duel between Obi Wan and Anakin (Or Darth Vader if you wish) is the saddest part of the film to me. Here we have two of the greatest friends ever fighting for death. They are yelling and screaming at each other both wanting the other to be killed. This is not the great heros we know. This is something much more different. This is the end of the Age of Heros. The epic duel tells a story of its own. It shows the fall of the Jedi, the Republic, and most importantly the fall of hope, trust, and love. I signifies the darkness the film holds. The tragic events that takes place through the film. The end of good and the begining of the reign of evil. The duel has effected me greatly and really makes me think about our world today. This duel is the centerpeice of the prequels and Star Wars it self. This duel is the end. Comments are welcome.
