Well I know the big hype now is the originals of the Original Trilogy are being relased on DVD. I am really excited about this new set and I know alot of other fans are. What I found intresting about the hype and the DVDs themsleves is that this is the origins of Star Wars, hence the title of the entry. The reason I am so excited for this set is because it is the originals. I have never seen the originals so I am really looking forward to it.

Theese DVDs are what made Star Wars popular in the first place. All the mistakes everything that has been cleaned up will be there. Thats the beuaty of theese DVDs. In 1977 people didn't speculate so much like we do today. They didn't say "Oh thats a model" or "Oh thats a costume." they where completely blown away. They beileved that was a starship and they beileve that there was aliens and lightsabers and Darth Vader. Star Wars completely captivated everyones mind and took them to a galaxy far far away.

I think releaseing these DVDs is one of the best thing. That way all fans can have a peice of history to take home with them. The 2004 editions also come with it which is another great perk. I am excited to see the diffrences. The 2004 versions are Georges true vision, but the 1977 and so forth are the true Star Wars. When I watch these originals for the first time I will be like the audience of 1977. I won't laugh at the bad effects or the other errors. I will let it captivate me and blow me away as Star Wars always does everytime I watch it. Star Wars takes us from reality. It takes us on a fun adventure that was never forget and when the end credits roll we just sit there for a while saying "That truely is the best film of all time."
