Take a look at the films of the Saga. And I mean a
CLOSE look. A
VERY CLOSE look. Then take another look at them. And I mean another
CLOSE look. Another
VERY CLOSE look.
If you still have trouble understanding what I mean, visit an oculist. STAR WARS ISN'T PERFECT. And I mean technically. Yeah, it's got some real problems too, with its storyline and blah blah blah, but that's another matter to be elaborated in another blog. In this one I will talk about how less-than-perfect Star Wars is in its technical aspect.
And you'll ask yourself what do I mean "technical aspect." Well, we love Star Wars for its rich visuals and thrillibs sounds. It is a visual and audio masterpiece. George Lucas has created images and sounds that have been embedded in modern culture, images and sounds people of the modern world will have a hard time forgetting even if they have only had a superficial contact with the Saga.
Yet, as it is only natural, these images and sounds are slightly flawed. Just check all the mistakes in the films. All films have mistakes, but the films of the Star Wars Saga have too many. There is a website,
www.moviemistakes.com (the one crawling with ads

), where you can find Star Wars mistakes. You can find
TPM,
AotC,
RotS,
ANH,
TESB,
RotJ and
Clone Wars mistakes.
Some of them can be corrected and shouldn't be counted as mistakes (any lip-sync errors for example, as the characters aren't supposed to be speaking English but Basic, and as is the case with many films whose English-speaking characters are a convention, the films are considered "dubbed"), but most of the mistakes just beg for a correction, and we have seen how Lucas and his team have the ability to correct them with the Special Editions. They are the first who should notice them and the only ones able to correct them.
