For my first blog entry (hi everybody), i decided to put something a little further out from the bright centre of the universe.
Who would win if Anakin (light or dark, you choose) had to go up against the flesh eating rabbit from the Monty Python classic "The Holy Grail"?
It has all the hallmarks of a great battle, whether it takes place in Scotland or Mustafar, as both are just full of 'High Ground' landscapes. Now, let's look at the combatants:
Anaking Skywalker\Darth Vader- He's one EVIL dude. He can carve up jedi like .38 calibre rifle to a possum. He's good with children....well disposing of them at any rate, and he has a tendency towards murdering, or manipulating family and friends. Loves underestimating people and is a walking advertisement for the future of prosthetic surgery.
The flesh eating rabbit aka The Beast of Caer Bannog- Not so much evil, as just plain vicious. Doesn't have a conscience to speak of. Appears to be capable of flying. Prefered method of killing seems to involve chewing the heads off sword wielding, armoured knights. Neighbours include the beast of AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRHHHHHHHH!, and John Cleese.
At first glance, you'd say 'Yeah sure, Skywalker would have this one in the bag!' but then, that's exactly what Arthur and his pals did too. The rabbit, though small, proved to be exceptional at close combat (was possibly schooled by yoda while he was waiting for luke??) and chewed through steel and chain mail like a banana in a blender. The beast of Caer Bannog, as mentioned, is also capable of flying, perhaps a derivative of some latent, and incredible force talent. If this is the case, then Anakin's vaunted powers are going to be useless. The knights of the grail eventually had to rely on a distance weapon (the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch) to dispose of the rabbit.
Since Anakin's weapon of choice is a lightsaber, he's really got no choice but to wade into close quarters. So how would The Chosen One fare?
Personally, I'd say it's too close to call....perhaps Anakin would come out on top, but not before he lost a limb or two. But then, that's nothing he hasn't done before either

. Have your say, keeping in mind that this is serious stuff (this last sentence is not to be taken seriously). Have fun.
