Love is more strong than the Force
I thought of this blog this morning. Wat was it that drove Luke to keep trying to save his father? I say it was love. Now the reason i think this is because Luke kept trying to change his father. He would havedone anything to change him back. So really the thing that the Jedi said made you of the dark side and was against the code was wat saved the galaxy. It was the bond between father and son that saved the galaxy. Your comments are welcome.

I agree. I think that love did save the gallexy. One of my favorite quotes (by Unknown) is "Love can't change what's wrong in the world... but it's a start." I think love motivated the whole gallexy being saved. Maybe it's not what did it, but it sure helped alot!

I think the whole saga is about love , you have a good eye for the true story of SW, and great perspective if you know that truly love never fails.:D

Luke wanted to save his father. Anakin wanted to save Padme. Both of them relied on the Force to achieve their ends. The difference...love and sacrifice.

Luke was willing to sacrifice himself to save his father, someone he loved. He was not willing to sacrifice his beliefs in love and life (read: will of the Force).

Anakin was willing to sacrifice everything, his beliefs, his friends, his teachers, everything but himself, for his wife, someone he loved. Anakin was unwilling to take the step he most needed: trusting in the very 'Force' that brought him to life.

Love might have saved the galaxy, but it destroyed it first. Anakin joined sidious only because of his love to Padme.

Ok yes it was love but it was unconditional love. It wasn't love like you love your wife. It's love like you love your father or your brother. It isn't the kind of love that destroyed Anakin. Thats what I believe.

Interesting though. I think that Luke wanted to make up for all the love he had missed out on with his parents for a good 18 years and used all that love to devote him to bringing his father to good

Qui-Gon Jinn in ROTS Novel and Obi-Wan Kenobi
in Last of the Jedi series has already address how important
love is to defeat the dark side and the Sith and the Empire,

Why did Luke love his father? Afterall his father killed his mother, his mentor, his best friend (Biggs), as well as torturing his sister, good friends Han and Chewie. Also his troops killed his Uncle and Aunt who raised him as their own. And his father chopped off his hand. Let's not forget 18 years of back child support. It seems to me that the Force was hinting to Luke that his father is worth saving, otherwise why do it?

I think that Love saved and Destroy the galaxy. If Anakin hadn't loved Padme then he wouldn't have gon't to the dark side. So yes it saved the Galaxy but it also Destrody it first.
