Was he ever free?
Was poor Ani ever free? If u think about it he never really was. In TPM he was a slave to the Hutt and Watto who would beat him for no reason. Then in AOTC he was controlled by the jedi and did wat they bidded because they feared his power and tried to keep him away from battle. Then even as Vader Palpatine kept him on a short leash because he feared that Anakin might turn all his fury on him . So if you think about it his life really sucked.

Was he ever free? Was poor Anakin ever truly free in his life? If you think about it he never was. When he was young he was a slave to Watto and the Hutt. So along comes Qui-gon and Obi-wan to take him to the Jedi Council. He becomes a Jedi but barely. None of the Council
