Building The Falcon: Episode II
Ok, if you haven't read part 1 of my Millenium Falcon building blog, then check it out here

Todays portion of the build started with the cockpit, complete with little tiny Han and Chewbacca. (I really need to buy a better quality camera but you get the idea)

After this I started on my own little addition to the model, interior lights. intended for around the ramp and behind the cockpit (hence yesterdays redesign of the cockpit wall)

Anyway, my plans were set back a little by a teenie weenie accidentie....I slightly melted the battery connector :O Oops! :8}
So the Falcon now has lights...but no power! and I'm pretty sure punching the side of the cockpit won't help on this occasion.

It'll probably be a couple of days before I can get the replacement parts I need, so I can't be sure when the next installment of my epic tale be come.
But untill then

May The Force Be With You

Update:

Problem solved, I managed to find a replacement battery compartment in the form of the rear half of a small FM radio. So the lights are now working :D :D

It's about mid-night here now though so I won't be doing any more building tonight and I have a friend staying tomorrow night so it'll be thursday when I next post, possibly with the finnished model :D
