Woo-Hoo! Only four days to go till celebration europe kicks off!
I can't wait, the last week seems to have gone so slowly, it's unbelieveable.

But I'm worried, it's so close, my hotel's booked, my train tickets are booked, and I've got my 3 day pass...but my hyperspace member lanyard hasn't been delivered yet!

I'm stating to think it isn't coming.

But hopefully it will arrive soon, worst case, I guess, i'll pick it up when I get there.

Anyway, I'm not letting the lanyard, or lack there of, take away any of my excitement. I still can't wait to get down to london!

I'm not sure what i'm looking forward to the most, seeing the stars of the films we've all come to love, the exclusive stuff to buy, the shows and talks, the archives of props that have become so familiar, the fantastic works of art, or meeting people who share the same love for the saga. So many great things.

Its great that some of the original trilogy actors are going to be there, its going to be great just seeing people like Mark Hamill, Antony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams and Ian McDiarmid (among others) in the flesh! I don't plan on getting any autographs, especially not mark hamill's, personally £85 ($162.52 at the current rate) seems a little steep for what is effectively someones name on a piece of paper. If I spend that much on something I want it to actually do something! But I can imagine anyone who collects autographs is going to be a little annoyed at that price.

I have my blogalot t-shirt ready to go, aswell as my jedi costume. I might even enter the costume pagent on saturday, but even if I don't it'll be great to watch and see all the other costumes. I'm going to have so much fun!

The one man star wars trilogy is performing so I plan to see that, and the cantina band live music contest should be good too. And of corse the clone wars and force unleashed presentations! I've already seen the clone wars trailer but seeing again, this time surrounded by other fans should be an amazing experience! And now i learn that ANH is being shown on Friday night, after the opening ceremonies! It'll be great to see it on the big screen again, this time watching it with other fans!

Its going to be one of the best weekends of my life, I'm sure.

Hopefully i'll find somewhere with a cheap wireless internet connection I can use while I'm there so I can report live from the celebration, so watch this space.



One other thing... who else is going to Celebration Europe? if you are then send me an E-mail, maybe we could all meet up. Everyone seemed to have so much fun at DJ mauls CIV Meet and Greet, we should do something, even if it is getting a little late to organise!
