Not exactly what I planned as my 50th blog but it's short and sweet and if there are any replies I would be thrilled.

I've been writing fan fiction since 1982, back when I was 11 years old. You might recognise the name of the main character in that first story - Jan Lomona, my blog name. Almost every year ever since there's been a Jan Lomona story, and with Lightsabre taking off as it did around 1998 there's been an awful lot more.

But (believe it or not) I'm not here to talk about me, or Jan. What I'd like to know - from fans and official writers alike - is does anyone know of a Star Wars fan fiction character that's been around longer than Jan?
Or more to the point, who's been constantly written about since 1982, as Lomona has?

A touch vain I know, but I am genuinely interested, and if there are any replies it would certainly lead to some kind of article or joint story on Lightsabre.

In fact, if you have a fan fiction character post here, tell me who they are and when they were created and I can get a list going.

Just as an aside, as it's my 50th blog can I just say a big thanks to everyone who replies to these crazy rants. To my good friends, (Tar_Ranth, Oboe-Wan, NerfHerdersAnonymous, bubba1227, Arf_Maul, Amidalooine, Nathan Chrono Radio, The Stooge, Nar Cranor) you know who you are, and to anyone who just drops by for a nose around, my gratitude.
