What if Luke when he was captured by that Wampa the Wampa killed Luke forever? What would the rebels do? When Han went to find Luke he would most likely die. What would the alliance do if there best pilot and there best mercenary died? Later when the Empire comes, the Empire would most likely kill most of the rebels. This may be a weird question but, would Vader give his life to himself because Luke is dead because Luke is all Vader has? Later, no one would be able to kill Palpatine.
