It was fitting that on Father's Day, my eldest son and I completely finished every last thing that we can do on the LEGO Star Wars Video Game. (All without a single cheat code.)

I didn't read anything about the game, either in the manual or online, so it took some trial and error to figure out what was earning me superkits, minikits and getting me to unlock Episode IV.

With nothing left to conquer, we blew money on the whimsy of silhouettes (the characters are mostly a black outline), purple (all characters lightsabers are purple -- which looks extra cool with silhouettes), teacups (all guns show up as cups), broomsticks (all lightsabers are brooms) and moustaches (most characters have a crazy cartoon moustache, including girls and droids). That was fun for a while.

Now the two of us just long for the day when we can play Episode IV, V and VI. Maybe Battlefront II will help.
