Excellence in Journalism with a Bai Ling Twist
This is normally Pabawan's domain, but Laqat.com pointed me over to this little nugget at IMDb, called Chinese Star Bai Ling Finally Gets Her Moment of 'Star Wars' Glory.

Let's examine...

Chinese film star Bai Ling, whose scene in George Lucas's Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith was deleted from the film

So far, so good... though I'm suspicious of that word "star". Let's continue...

after she posed topless for Playboy magazine,

Ack! I thought this was gone. This scene was cut from the film long before Bai Ling had any kind of association with Playboy, as George Lucas has explained. George's daughter was also cut in the same scene. It was cut for story purposes. But I digress.

will finally be seen in the film when the two-disc Revenge of the Sith is released on home video next week. Hers is one of several deleted scenes that will be included in the DVD. In it, she appears as Senator Bana Breemu and speaks four words ("That would be dangerous.") to Queen Amidala, played by Natalie Portman

OK, back on track. Padme's not a Queen any more, but I'm going to cut the reporter some slack on that one.

and Anakin Skywalker, played by Hayden Christensen.

Anakin isn't in the scene. Now you're just making stuff up. That's an unnecessary "Shattered Glass" type detail.

She has previously said that in the scene she appears to be "all naked with tattoos on my body" and that her strange appearance is explained in the movie.

At first I thought the reporter was in on Ms. Ling's joke here, but on a second reading I've changed my mind.

For the record, Ling's character is fully clothed, is among the least strange looking characters in the film, and is definitely not explained in any way.
