Having worked at Lucasfilm since 1999, I can sometimes feel a little numb to all this Star Wars stuff and how cool it all really is. But then there are the great moments too (usually something small), that just pump me up all over again.
So, this morning I get a call from the set of
The Late Show with David Letterman. Last week I was working with them, serving as a creative consultant for a Star Wars
top ten list that will be presented tonight. As someone who's been a fan of Dave since there was a man under the chair, a monkey cam and before the velcro suit... it's quite a thrill to have had even this extremely small "brush with greatness".
I also have to put together a few background fact sheet on Chewbacca for
Regis & Kelly... but who cares?
Of course, absolutely NOTHING will ever top the few hours I got to spend with
Ron MacLean earlier this year, filming a segment for "Movie Night in Canada". (If you don't already know why this is cool, then you won't get it.)
