During the era of prequels-in-production, keeping up with all of the Star Wars news popping up on fansites would have been a full-time job... one that was starting to detract from my actual full time job.

To help myself out, I started developing some scripts that would keep me up-to-the-hour by email whenever new headlines popped up. As months and years past, the scripts grew more sophisticated and eventually the email went to a small webserver for extra convenience.
