Preparations for a Galaxy Far, Far Away...
Tomorrow, after I do my chores of applying for jobs, will be my Star Wars marathon. Starting at 6 pm CST, I will start playing Episode I, then Episode II, then speed down to the theatre for the midnight showing of Episode III : Revenge of the Sith. However, there will be an hour wait so I get the best seats in the house. I will read The Hero with a Thousand Faces, the book that helped Lucas tell this story we've all come to adore. Then, the event I've been waiting for will happen.

The lights will dim, the 20th Century Fox theme will play, fans will cheer and I'll forget all I've experienced through being a member of Hyperspace since there was a webcam watching paint dry on the sets of this film. I'll forget I watched Lucas show the webcammers, a frame of the film during dailies and how we all were so excited. I'll forget watching the creature shop sculpt the last new alien. I'll forget all but what's present on screen.

After that? I'll rush home, and with all the strength in me, I'll watch Episodes IV, V, and VI. Then, I'll post a review of my experience then fall fast asleep. Just to think that's only less than twenty-one hours away.

If you like my idea, I suggest you do the same. That is if you're going to the midnight showing, too.
