What if there was a different group of Jedi who faced Palpatine?
Ok here is another question that has been bothering me about episode III, and I am not sure if it has been asked yet. As we all know, as soon as Anakin discovered that Palpatine was the Dark Lord of the Sith he reported it to Mace Windu, who was already on his way to make sure the chancellor gave up his emergency powers. Along with him were Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin, three accomplished Jedi masters. As we all know Master Kolar and Master Tiin were taken out in the first two strikes of the fight, followed by Master Fisto shortly after, leaving Master Windu to face the Dark Lord alone. But what if it was a different lineup? The Clone Wars were an unpredictable time period were many Jedi generals were spread thin across the galaxy, but certain Jedi had obvious strengths that could have helped against Palpatine. Kit Fisto actually said he would have been much calmer if Obi-Wan or Yoda were with them, and Saesee scolded him saying they could handle it (ya right.) But what if they were there? What if someone else lead the attack on Kashyyyk? I know Yoda used his invaluable Battle Mediation there, but Luminara Unduli was there and I think so was Quinlon Vos. And Yes Obi-Wan did kill Grievous, but that's a small victory for a much larger loss (i.e. the empire.) There are endless possibilities to the combinations that "could" have confronted Palpatine, but my favorite would have been Yoda, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan, and Plo Koon (just cause he is my favorite.) I would love to hear what other fans might think on this topic, and let me know your team of preferred Jedi who would face the Dark Lord. MTFBWY
