The Clone Wars 3D animation facts #2
The concept I came up with seems to please at least some of my readers so I have decided to keep going with it. Remember, there will be heavy spoilers in all the Clone Wars 3D animation facts series.

In my first entry, I have indicated I will give a little more credit to the spy report I used as a reference, so it will be the focus of this entry.

In this report, we have a plot summery of the first episode. It says that the plot of the first episode may revolve around the Jedi (Obi-Wan and Anakin) trying to rescue Jabba the Hutt's son from Separatist forces. My first reaction when reading this information back in March was "Oh, it is just plain silly. This spy report is garbage. "

But, last week, the image of the lego minifig version of some characters surfaced on the web. Remember the image I used as a reference in my first entry? If you look closely, the third minifig is actually a baby Hutt, named Rotta.

As an additional proof, an image of a 3D version of Jabba's Palace is clearly visible on one of the Clone Wars profile videos.

So, it seems that the spy report is at least partially genuine, but to what extent, it remains to be seen. But it gives more credit to the possibility that Ahsoka, the new character I was talking about last time, could be Anakin's padawan.

I'm not particularly interested in the possible plot for the first episode but maybe it will be good. My next entry will revolve around a third new character (I already introduced you to Ahsoka and Rotta.)

Until next time, May the Force be with you!

Ps: Keep giving me feedback on the concept. ;)

Hey... this post made me notice... that could be the interior of Jabba's Palace in the CIV trailer. The part with the huge door opening and the droids coming in from a blinding light and "HERE THEY COOOOOOME!" and all that...

cool

I was hoping for some Hutt stuff in one of the new series

Actually, it's possible yes.

There will be some Hutt stuff in the Clone Wars animation, it seems a given now. It will not surprice me to see Hutts in the live-action series.

Now, those are some interesting ideas: Jabba with a son that the Jedi rescue, and Anakin having a Padawan.....very interesting.

Never thought of that . . . good catch!

I guess Anakin just needs to be in control of people (*coughForceUnleashedcough*) . . . I dunno about Ashoka being his apprentice, though.

I'm excited!!!!

Interesting! I'm not sure about the whole "Anakin's apprentice" thing though. We heard nothing about that in ROTS, and the Council wouldn't make him a master. How could he have a padawan before then? But I guess we'll see.

There is a difference between being a "master" of a apprentice and being a Jedi Master. Every knight can have a padawan, Master or not. The only sure thing is that Ashoka will not become a full knight (maybe she will be killed) because when a Padawan become full Knight, his master become automaticaly a Master.

it would ruin Jabba's character as we know him from "A New Hope" and "Return of the Jedi" and I hope it's just a unofficial rumor :)
I don't believe it until it will be officially confirmed.
