I just recently bought a new car (well...a used car). A 2002 Volkswagen Passat.

My wife suggested I get a vanity plate for it, so after considering the possibility, I think I've decided I'm going to.


At first, I didn't want to go the complete nerd route and get a Star Wars plate, but why hide who I am? I might as well go for it. I'm open to other ideas besides Star Wars, but I figure I'd start there first. I'm also fans of other nerdy media like Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Video Games, and the like...so if anyone can think of other ones falling into those categories, I'm open for it.

My favorite one so far is 3720T01 (3720 to 1), however in Maryland, the Zero and the letter O are the same character, thus this idea may look jumbled on a plate.

Other ones I like are TA2INE, THX1138, TK421, and WAMPRAT.

I've also considered ideas like MTFBWY, though I'd like something not quite so obvious. Then there's also BTTF (Back to the Future), but it's a little plain.

So, I'm looking for 7 letters, numbers, or spaces (no special characters). Anyone seen anything else neat?
