This is my first Blog!!! I'm actually nervous and my tummy is all in knots ~ isn't that weird?

Ok, anyway...

So, I went to Target to begin looking for, what I thought would be, the elusive 5 necessary action figures to purchase to send off to get the Limited Edition George Lucas Stormtrooper action figure. What did I find, you might ask? I found all of them all at once!! Excitedly, I grabbed them all and placed them carefully in my basket and called my Mom, who I had already sent on the "hunt" as well to let her know not to bother.

What I then began thinking about next is the actual topic of this blog... Why is it that these companies never think to make the proofs of purchase that they require of us for these special promotions, attainable without defacing the stupid packaging of the product? It's truly annoying!

I mean for those of us who are collectors (and you know that the toy companies all know that a lot of the people who buy the products are actually collectors and not just kids), it is heart-wrenching when it comes time to have to begin cutting on the packing of the item to get the proof of purchase off to send in to get the "ultimate prize" that you're wanting (ie: George Lucas Stormtrooper in this case)!

AND, at the price of this particular set, ($11.99 a piece) I'm not buying 2 sets so I can cut one up and keep one. I just don't have it!
