Star Wars Rhapsody
The ultimate Rock Operetta meets the ultimate Space Opera. Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is the setting for this song parody, the third in my series. Have fun singing along!

Just in case, here's the original song (even with SW clips!)... ;)

STAR WARS RHAPSODY

JEDI

Is he a Jedi
Future is hard to see
Clouded in darkness
Difficult to train, he will be

One day he'll be
The Chosen One, you will see

ANAKIN

I was a slave boy,
but Qui-Gon set me free
And now I'm training with Obi-Wan
A difficult Padawan

Finally back with Padme,
But Sand People killed my Mom
My Mom

Padme, just killed them all
My light saber in my hand
Cut them down into the sand
Padme, dark side's just begun
I've gotta hide these feelings deep inside

Padme, ooooooo
It's not worthy of a knight
But, off to Geonosis now we go
Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan, he's the one that matters now

Dukoo, your time has come
Master Yoda won the fight
Kicked your butt and you took flight
Windu and the Jedi Knights
Had begun the Wars with all their Army of Clones

Padme, ooooooo
I can't live alone
We'll have our wedding on Naboo in secret

I see a little cyborg standing on the Hand
Grevious, Grevious, he is holding ol' Palpy
Wielding four light sabers
He has just escaped from us!
Rescue Palpy, But there's Dukoo
Rescue Palpy, But there's Dukoo
Rescue Palpy, Dukoo must be vanquished now

I've got his saber crossed at his throat now
Palps has just told me, "Kill him, you must now!"
It's not the way of the Jedi, you see!

Padme's with child now, what are we to do
Utapau - No, they will not let me go - Obi goes
Utapau - They will not let me go - Obi goes
Utapau - They will not let me go - Grevious dies
Would not let me go - let me go
Would not let me go - let me go
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Jedi council, Jedi council, Jedi council let me go
And Sidious was behind it all the time I see, I see, I seeeeeee

(Head banging part!!!!!) :D
Mace is dead, I am Vader and now I am Powerful
On to Mustafar, Sep'ra'st's to kill, this is Wonderful
OH, Padme, got to rule with me Padme
Obi-Wan's here, fight to the death, here and now!

Vader's in a suit now.
Padme's dead and gone.
Jedi all but dead now.
Nothing really matters to me.

Now that I'm a Sith Lord...

Its good but the Metallica one was better. You have a real talent here maybe you could be a star wars version of Weird Al. JK.

very nice homage to both SW and Queen, i love it. Well, it helps that my frisbee team's theme song is Bohemian Rhapsody, but w/e.

Its good but the Metallica one was better.

Thanks, dg7. This one was very challenging. Attempting to get three movies in one song and living up to Queen is not an easy task. Loved the link!!! :^O This song would actually come across better if I had a way to actually sing it and link it myself so the nuances could come through! It's a toughie!!! :p

I love the "they will not let me go to Utapau" part, very clever!

Thanks, AS1! I giggled the whole time I wrote that part!

Wonderful! You should really have someone record that one! As a Queen fan and SW fan they go great together!

jkthunder I never really thought of that. They really say no a lot! I suppose it's all part of the emotional film! :p

Thanks, Jedi Arwen! You absolutely MUST hear the original!!!!! It's one the most fantastic pieces of rock music in history!!!!!!!

Great stuff Hansgirl13, I bow to your genius. I did something similar on the Dark Horse message boards - Randy Stradley created a thread and did something to celebrate the release of KoToR #1 by re-writing some song about Knights from Monty Python's Holy Grail movie. I replied in kind with We Will Rock You by Queen, and was rightly honoured much in the same way you are here. Alas, my hard drive took a bullet the other week and all my work has gone so I can't repeat it here.

However, I could find the thread again at Dark Horse...

Thank you very much, Rogueish!! :)

However, I could find the thread again at Dark Horse...

I would love to see it! Much as I love Queen, anything linking the two is that much better... :)

I'm sorry about your hard drive. :( I'm not into KoToR, but did they use "Knight's of the Round Table"? I love that song! I'll bet it was funny!!
