Only two there are, a master and an apprentice....
Hey guys,
So I was thinking this morning about the Sith law/code/whatever that states that there can only be two Sith at one time, 1 master and 1 apprentice. Now I know this has been broken a few times before (like it will be in The Force Unleashed where Vader takes up a secret apprentice, which is ok because its awesome). But the three I wanted to know more on is the Sidiouse, Tyranus, and Ventress trio. How was this acceptable? Was it because Sidiouse just didnt care anymore because he knew Anakin would fall to the dark side and destroy everyone and have only the two Sith again, or because Sidiouse was'nt aware of Asajj or what. And, I know this does'nt really count because he did'nt teach him about the dark side of the force because he was uncapable, but he did train General Grievous with lightsabers....(random much lol)

Any comments are greatly appreiciated!

It seems every Sith Apprentice will take their own apprentice or trainee while still an apprentice, probably because of the second part of the Rule of Two: "One to embody the power, the other crave it". The apprentice (like Dooku and Vader) craves the power and are training an apprentice so they can eventually overthrow their master.

Sidious probably knew of all the secret apprentices and didn't care, probably thinking they weren't a threat to him.

That makes sense. Especially how they would'nt be a threat to him.
Thanks

I just figure that there are two main Sith, a master and apprentice. Just like in KOTOR, if you've played it, there are tons of Dark Jedi, but only 2 Sith.

Yea, that's true, but now i'm kinda confused lol. Dark jedi to sith? What would be the main difference.... my guess is the dark jedi are like Count Dooku, but after Sidiouse took him in, he bacame sith... mmmmm........

Yeah, there's a big difference between a Dark Jedi and a Sith. A Dark Jedi is just a Force user who uses the Dark Side, whereas the Sith subscribe to a specific set of beliefs about how to use that Dark Side, and to what ends. So while a Sith Apprentice might take an apprentice of his or her own, that lower apprentice receives no training in anything specifically Sith.

Sure, they may claim one thing... but hey, lies and deceit are the ways of the Sith, right? Yoda sure thought so. And you gotta always listen to your avatar. ;)

I'm going with the dark jedi vs. sith reasoning, as stated earlier. that seems to make sense.
