"The Island" director Michael Bay was in hiding this weekend in Arizona, perhaps having looked at the tracking for his film and deciding he didn't want to know. Apparently Ewan McGregor's still not a movie star. I have a feeling he doesn't mind too much.

I think The Orlando Sentinel is reaching when it tries to interpret San Diego Comic Con as a mainstream tourist attraction, but whatever floats their boat.

The Associated Press asks whether "Revenge of the Sith" marks the end of the era of the superfan. Does this mean the world is about to suffer from a sudden influx of productivity? I don't think so.

...and although most critics seem to think Ewan McGregor's singing voice lacks the power necessary to carry a stage musical, on the whole they're over the moon for the Guys and Dolls revival.

As expected, the "Revenge of the Sith" parodies are already trickling in. This one -- by a non-fan, no less -- is my hands-down favorite so far. Not for kids, though.
