Annoo-dat - Droids cartoon vs Jango Fett comic subspecies

Rich Handley and I actually addressed this discrepancy in our Droids piece for Dungeon #111. The original Droids cartoon guys are the indigenous species and the Zam comic species are invading conquerers.

Interesting list. I'm glad that the depictions of the Bothans now follow Specter of the Past's suit, rather than the kinda silly-looking WEG versions.

Kessel - Early Adventures comics vs barren rock
I'd love to read a story reconciling this, so long as it preserves the integrity of Russ Manning's concept.

Although you'ld be the deciding factor, I had always heard that the CCG depictions of Corran Horn and Talon Karrde were non-canon due to their nature. And although Timothy Zahn bares a striking resemblance to the industrious pirate, I would hate to think that Mirax married so far outside her age (not to mention what Booster's reaction would surely be)!

The "nature" of the images, having authors play characters they created, has never been a factor in deciding whether these images were canon or not. Zahn's Karrde certainly matches most of our other depictions, but it is Corran's depiction that has been a recurring continuity issue. The goatee version seen in the New Essential Guide is considered the official look for Corran during the New Republic and early New Jedi Order time frame.
