Bye, Bob Wilkins
My very first memory of Star Wars was watching a clip of the docking port sequence on the late night horror show Creature Features hosted by Bob Wilkins which aired in the 70's and early 80's on Channel 2 KTVU here in the Bay Area. I'd also watch him each afternoon as the secret identity of Captain Cosmic, a show which aired Japanese live-action series like Space Giants, Ultraman, and Johnny Socko and his Flying Robot. I had my picture taken with him as a child at the opening of Sci-Fi toy star Starbase Central in Palo Alto and years later got his autograph at Wonder-Con where he was a frequent attendee, promoting his books on Sci-Fi and horror movies.

He will be missed.
