 | So, my sister gets to see the first two chapters... |
My fifteen year-old sister watched The Phantom Menace on the 8th of May, as you probably know we're watching each of the movies in order, she's seen both TPM & AOTC (they're the only two she's seen) before but that was a long time ago.
The Phantom Menace - 8th May 2005
It was really great to sit down with Adele (that's my sisters name!) & watch the opening chapter to the saga with her, my parents were good enough to let me pump-up the volume on my 5.1 surround system which was nice of them!
I got many spine-tingling moments during the film & Adele said that she did to, that's one of the weird things about STAR WARS, it's like the only set of movies out there that can have that effect on me.
It was very cool at the end when that camera pans over to Palpatine "But which was killed the Master or the Aprentice?", to us fans who have already seen the saga that pan represents something completely different, Adele doesn't yet realise that Palpatine = Sidious!
Attack of the Clones - 15th May 2005
Yet again, this was another amazing experience. After watching the movie Adele quite clearly still didn't know that Palpatine = Sidious, George has shot these movies in such a clever-way, once Adele has seen ROTS I bet she'll be dying to re-watch both TPM & AOTC! She's not sure about Anakin at this point, she can seem him beginining to slide toward the dark side.
Anyway, still to come:
Revenge of the Sith - 19th May, A New Hope - 19th May, Empire Strikes Back - 22nd May, Return of the Jedi - 29th May.
