I've been studying for finals this week. It sucks.

Tonight I had to get away from the house and my roommates and the distractions on the Internet, so I went to IHOP.

The atmosphere was less than ideal for studying, but the food was good, and the lack of people trying to talk to me was fabulous. It was just what I needed.

And I discovered my new guilty pleasure: tipping way too much. My bill was $4.34, and I usually tip around 20 percent, but a dollar just seemed cheap.

Besides, my server's name was Destiny. I took it as a sign.

So I tipped $5.66.

When I go home, I'm sleeping for a week straight, right up to Christmas Eve.
